Thomas Tuchel is going bloody nowhere

I got a bit annoyed a few weeks ago when several journalists and sports pundits started playing around with the idea that Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel would favour a mood to Manchester United. As a Chelsea fan I can confidently say that Tuchel is going absolutely nowhere, I know for a fact he is really happy in London and I personally hope that he decides to extend his contract and continue his time at the club further.

Of course, United are at the moment looking for a managerial candidate to take charge in the summer after Rangnick leaves (I don't think Ralf will take the job full time).

The idea that's been circulating is that a new ownership at Chelsea could lead to Tuchel's departure, but personally I disagree.

If we're going to this level of effort to pick out a successor to Abramovich - someone who is truly in it for the football development and success of the club and not just for the financial gain, then they have to see that Thomas Tuchel is one of the best managers in world football right now. We are winning with him right now. He's been in the job just over a year and he's already got us to 3 trophies and 5 cup finals. He's said that he loves where he is at the moment and the players that he has. He has the oppurtunity for a strong summer transfer window where he can further bolster our club.

At the start of this season we were in the running for the league title, before injuries led to a series of draws and dropped points. With reinforcement in our key areas we can mount another title challenge next season and Tuchel can hopefully add a league title to his trophy cabinet at the Bridge.

The new ownership will not change the management of the club, I'm certain. So the fact that pundits and journalists are jumping on the idea that Tuchel won't survive at Chelsea and might look for an out is ridiculous and it frustrates me.

Carragher doubled down on his opinion that Tuchel should swap blue for red, and said it was a 'no-brainer'. And sure, Man United is a potentially desirable destination for some managers, to awaken a sleeping giant such as the Red Devils. I've always had the belief Ten Hag is their best bet, he's done really well at Ajax and I think he's the most likely to bring about results once again in Manchester. Poch has been linked with them for a while but he hasn't been totally convincing with PSG.

Tuchel is a good manager but he should stay put with the Blues, I don't think he has any reason to leave.
